CASE STUDIES

HOW BENEFICIARIES RECEIVE OUR AID?

In-Person Meeting

Anyone in need of any assistance in a medical emergency has to apply in writing, explaining his or her needs and circumstances in detail. The Trust vets all the applications carefully and then an executive from the Khidmat Charitable Trust schedule a face-toface meeting with the applicant. During this interaction, the KCT executive takes a full account of the individual's case, tries to understand their problems, economic and social conditions.

Filling of Forms

Once the background check is complete and the executive is satisfied with the authenticity of the case, the applicant is asked to fill-out a 'Khidmat Enrollment' form, along with a photo, identity proof such as PAN or Aadhaar card. In the case of medical assistance, a doctor's prescription is also mandatory.

Verification

KCT's Medical Officer then examines the medical procedure, while a pharmacist screens the medicine prescription and also gives an estimate of the approximate cost involved for medicines, procedures, etc.

Sanction & Deed

Lastly, the Trustees scan each and every form carefully and give their final approval for prompt action. The medicines are delivered to the location with open seals to avoid reselling. No cash, only cheque policy is adopted for monetary transactions.
